Gothic³ Interactive Map [G3iMap]

 Introduction:

Gothic 3 Interactive Map, or brief G3iMap, is an interactive map for finding entities in the world of Gothic 3. The term entity means in this context, everything which has a position within the game. These are usually the following ones:

• NPCs
• Special persons
• Fractions and groups
• Places and cities
• Items
• Questitems
• Animals and creatures
• Merchants
• Teacher including the perks they teach
• Quest starting persons including the quests they give

At the moment, the five most important maps of Gothic 3, are supported. The three country maps (Myrtana, Nordmar, Varant) and two detail maps (Al Shedim, Ancestors).

1. Download.
2. Start Installer with double clicking setup.exe

G3iMap supports three view modes to display positions:

1. Single view: Every entity is selected manually and will be displayed alone e.g. a NPC. The selection is done via the drop down list.
2. Multiple view: In this viewing mode all entities, who belong to the same group e.g. cities oder all friends, will be displayed at the same time on the map, including a label with the name of the entity.
3. Multiple view without labels:This view mode ist identical to multiple view, but without the labels, which were hidden for better overview.

The views will be activated automaticly, if a menu item is chosen.

G3iMap contains a language interface, that means to can use the program in different languages. This is done by so called language files, which contain the complete translations of all texts within the program. New languages can be added by everyone, without the need to change the program.

This software is freeware and can be freely used for noncommercial purposes. Hosting on other websites is strictly forbidden without the permission of me (AHO). Gothic 3 Interactive Map, kurz G3iMap, ist eine Interaktive Karte, zum Auffinden von Entitäten in der Welt von Gothic 3. Der Begriff Entität umfasst in diesem Zusammenhang alles, was eine Position hat. Dies sind in der Regel folgende:

• NPCs
• Spezielle Personen
• Fraktionen und Gruppen
• Orte und Städte
• Gegenstände
• Questitems
• Tiere und Kreaturen
• Händler
• Lehrer incl. die Perks die sie lehren
• Questgeber und die Quests die sie Vergeben

Zur Zeit werden die fünf wichtigsten Karten von Gothic 3 Unterstützt. Die drei Landeskarten (Myrtana, Nordmar, Varant) und die zwei Detailkarten (Al Shedim, Ahnengräber).

1. Download.
2. Den Installer starten mit Doppelklick auf setup.exe

G3iMap unterstützt zum Darstellen der Positionen drei Anzeige Modi:

1. Einzelansicht: Jede Entität wird manuell ausgewählt und in der jeweiligen Karte angezeigt z.B. die NPCs. Die Auswahl erfolgt über die herzunterklappbare Liste.
2. Multiple Ansicht: In dieser Ansicht werden alle Entitäten einer zusammengehörigen Gruppe, wie z.B. die Städte oder alle Freunde, auf einmal in der Karte dargestellt incl. einer Beschriftung
3. Multiple Ansicht ohne Beschriftung :Diese Ansicht ist identisch mit der Multiplen Ansicht, außer der Tatsache, daß die Beschriftungen zwecks Übersichtlichkeit weggelassen werden.

Die Ansichten werden automatisch durch das Auswählen eines Menüpunktes aktiviert.

G3iMap besitzt ein Sprach-Interface, d.h. das Programm kann in anderen Sprachen bedient werden. Dies wird realisiert durch sog. Sprachdateien. Diese beinhalten die Übersetzungen aller Texte. Neue Sprachen können von jedem hinzugefügt werden, ohne daß das Programm verändert werden muß.

Diese Software ist Freeware und darf nonkommerziell verwendet werden. Das Hosten auf anderen Web-Sites ist ohne ausdrückliche Genehmigung von mir (AHO) verboten.
